The island Sri Lanka is located in the Indian Ocean and is a paradise. During your vacation in the southern province of Sri Lanka, you will hike through the rainforest, swim with turtles and search for elephants. Simply fantastic!

Sri Lanka is considered "India Light". The cities Colombo and Galle are a bit bustling, but nature is more quiet. In Sinharaja Forest, a large rainforest, you can see monkeys, snakes and colorful birds on a guided tour.

The Udawalawe National Park has really inspired us. On an individual jeep tour you will be driven across the 100 hectare national park. Here you will see some elephants for sure.

You will get to know English tea and everything about its cultivation on a tea plantation near Galle. Close to the city is also the Turtle Beach, where especially in the morning hours giant turtles are looking for food.

A boat takes you across the Madu River to Buddhist temples, to a cinnamon plantation and through mangrove forests. Just around the corner is Ahungalla. Here we chose an all-inclusive hotel* ausgesucht. Das hat uns wirklich begeistert. Besonders die Cocktailbar im Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Weitere Angebote findest du auch unter DerBesteUrlaub.de.
