Between the impressive Kalon Minaret, the Ark Fortress, and the ancient madrasas, we dive deep into the history of the Silk Road. From there, we continue to Khiva, one of the best-preserved historic cities in the world. The walled inner city, Itchan Kala, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Especially at sunset, the city feels like something straight out of One Thousand and One Nights.
Next, we take a day trip to the Aral Sea , one of the most impressive and at the same time saddest places in Uzbekistan. After that, we reach the heart of the Silk Road: Samarkand. This legendary city is the cultural highlight of any Uzbekistan travel guide. Registan Square, with its three monumental madrasas, is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world.
Our journey ends in Tashkent, the modern capital of Uzbekistan. Here, tradition meets Soviet-era architecture, modern cafés, wide boulevards, and one of the most beautiful metro systems in the world. Tashkent is the perfect place to relax and reflect on this incredible journey.
