Elephants, giraffes, lots of action. We show you beautiful landscapes, lodges where you can simply relax - and the tastiest apple pie in Africa. Are you ready for your safari vacation? Namibia in 5 minutes.

The capital Windhoek is easy-going. The city's landmark: Christ Church. It was built in 1907. You can buy a few souvenirs at the Namibia Craft Center. Joe's Beerhouse is an institution. Popular with locals and tourists. Here you will find exceptional food, such as kudu, zebra or crocodile.

We first head north in a 4x4 pickup truck. Here you have to get used to driving on the left. The right choice of vehicle is extremely important - and you need to be able to change tires. Because 90% of the roads are gravel, punctures are not out of the question.

At Mokuti Etosha Lodge we can relax totally. The link is below in the video description. Etosha National Park is the largest national park in Namibia. Here you can discover the Big Four: elephant, rhino, lion and leopard. The best time to observe animals, for example on a game drive, is at dawn and dusk. This is when the animals come to the waterholes.

Swakopmund is located by the sea and is quite cool all year round. Definitely a change after the hot days in Etosha. Visit the local market to buy a wooden giraffe, for example. Haggling is the order of the day here. Boat tours depart from Walvis Bay, where you can watch dolphins, seals and even whales.

On the way to Sossusvlei, we make a stopover in Solitaire - a small desert village. Here you will supposedly find the best apple pie in Africa. Sossusvlei is in the middle of the Namib Desert - the place where nothing grows. It really feels like that. The sand can get up to 70 degrees Celsius here. To the left and right, dunes up to 300 meters high rise like pyramids. An unforgettable experience! If you still have time and energy, we recommend a short walk through the Sesriem Canyon.
