The Airport of Dubai is one of the largest in the world. With the metro you can get to different parts of Dubai very comfortably and quickly. But also taxi is not expensive in Dubai. Every taxi has a taxi meter, so you don't have to worry about being fooled as a tourist.
There are many luxury hotels in Dubai. For a night in a double room at Burj Al Arab* you have to pay at least 1000 Euro. We recommend Canopy by Hilton Dubai Al Seef *. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the metro stop "Burjuman".
The best time to travel to Dubai is from October to April. In these months the temperatures are between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius. Just right to relax in the sun!
Dubai is a Muslim country and quite conservative. Therefore pay attention to your clothing and do not exchange tenderness in public. And also important: Alcohol is forbidden on the streets.
The Burj Khalifa is one of the most famous sights in Dubai. With a height of 828 meters Burj Khalifa is the highest building in the world! It is best to buy your ticket for the viewing platform online in advance!

Shopping, shopping, shopping. It is best to come to Dubai with enough pocket money, because here you will find great shopping opportunities. Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates are two of them. They are open daily until midnight! Dubai Aquarium in the Dubai Mall is one of the largest underwater zoos in the world. The entrance area alone is simply unbelievably large!
Besides the malls, the traditional bazaars are also worth a visit. For example the Gold and Spice Souk, here you can find gold in abundance. And the smell of different spices is overwhelming.
Burj Al Arab Burj Al Arab is one of the most expensive hotels in the world. For a night in a double room you have to pay at least 1000 Euros. Our tip: If you still don't want to miss the hotel, you can simply reserve a table in the cocktail bar on the 27th floor. There The cocktails look and taste really awesome! Without a reservation you will not be even able to enter the hotel grounds.
A desert safari is a must when you are in Dubai. Depending on the offer the trip takes 2 to 6 hours. Some tours include a quad ride, camel ride, sandboarding and dinner with entertainment. But be aware: Many offers are mass events and very touristic!

The car is the number 1 means of transport here, but there is also a very modern metro. It is completely driverless - and quite cheap. Attention: There is a separate compartment for women and children, to which men have no access.
