The Santa Claus Village, located right on the Arctic Circle, is a magical place where you can easily spend half a day or even a full day. Here, you can meet Santa Claus in person and marvel at the numerous wish letters from around the world at the Santa Claus Post Office — a true highlight for both kids and adults.

For more intense winter experiences, we recommend traveling about two hours north from Rovaniemi to Pyhä and Luosto. These charming ski resorts offer not only great slopes but also a variety of outdoor activities: exciting husky safaris, thrilling snowmobile tours, relaxing horseback rides through snowy landscapes, and adventurous fat bike tours on frozen trails. A particularly memorable experience is staying in a cozy wooden cabin with a glass igloo, where you can admire the starry sky and, hopefully, the stunning Northern Lights at night.
