The mysterious Geishas, who gracefully glide through the streets, give the district a touch of ancient romance and allow you to immerse yourself in old Japan.<\/p>

Another highlight is the Kinkaku-ji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion. The magnificent gilding of the temple is reflected picturesquely in the water of the adjacent pond.
